Why doesn't my updated Profile photo/pic/avatar show up?

Members, you should be able to just click on your profile, then the "edit" tab, and then the "upload button"-- the system should automatically resize for you.

If you've tried that without success, you may have a local "cache" (temporary storage) issue where your new photo is probably uploaded A-OK but your browser still uses the old photo from cache. You can test that by viewing your profile on another computer, or try these steps on your current computer:

1. decide on your new profile photo and log-in (if not already)
2. edit your profile
3. click "choose photo" button to upload your new photo
4. click "submit" button to save your new photo
5. clear your browser's cache (often under your browser's "File" or "Tools" menus)
6. "refresh" or reload the page to see your new photo
