Skid Plates...Skid Row or Warn?
I know Warn is world famous for winches, but are their skid plates any good? What about Skid Row? Or all the other plate manufacturers? I picked these two because their pricing is very similar, and their specs seem to be pretty much the same as well. So I guess does it just boil down to appearance, or are there differences that might not be so obvious? What do you think?

Haven't had experience with Warn protection, but we had SkidRow installed on a show TJ back in the day (disclaimer: SkidRow was a sponsor), I think when Eric first came out with them, and they've held up rock solid since and saved us a lot of potential repair $$$. We had SR steering box, seriously beefy transfer/engine case, control arm units and they've held up well through all kinds of trails; see here for some install pics, etc.
Just do a little research on whatever part your wanting. Ask the mfg. for specs., ask the retailer for their opinion, talk to real Jeepers that use the stuff. Check out all the mags you can for product reviews!!! Skid Row is great! Warn is good to. Basically if you stick with a reputable company its hard to go wrong, (usually).
