Need a review on this Jamboree
Hello, i was wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit about Appalachian Jeep Jamboree in Murphy NC. I'm from NY and thinking about taking the 700 mile trip there in October. Has anyone been there and let me know if it's worth the drive. And if anyone has camped there too and can tell me a little about a nice campsite that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Well, I'll start with the camping question first - Crawfords campground is the premium camping spot for the area. You can look them up online. Great place!! As for Tellico itself... It's well worth the drive. Some first class wheel'n to say the least. It's hardly ever the same each time you go. Unfortunately, the powers that be have "temporarely" closed the OHV area. Thanks to fat wallets within the trouts unlimited group. So who knows if anyone will get to wheel Tellico again!! Very sad!
