MyRides - allow members to create Jeep profiles

Create a new vehicle profile content type that allows members to create an individual vehicle profile for each of their Jeeps.
Profile might be called MyRide and include the following fields:
- text fields
year, make, model, color, tire size, lift size - check boxes
winch, lift, roof rack, trailer, and other common accessories, primary use (street or trail)
Members, please comment (reply below) to let us know what additional fields, check boxes, or MyRide features (e.g., do you want photos included?) you'd like to see.

Fantasy Ride

Might also be interesting to allow members to create, through this MyRides feature (above), a "fantasy ride" to go along with their real/current Jeeps. This fantasy ride would be a Jeep kitted out with all the stuff they'd like to have, sorta wish list... what winch, lift kit, etc they're looking to buy next or what they'd get if money were no object (e.g., what they consider the best). Maybe use it as just something fun to compare with others, or as a future shopping list. Drop suggestions below!

I hear ya Southern; will research that more. BTW are links to photos OK or did you want to upload them here, and how many photo fields do you think would cover it?

i would have a text field where you can post a photobucket image (thats just the people i use, www.photobucket.com ). example:
from photobucket you copy the img code and post it here, it will look like this and when you post the picture is shown.

right now the site isnt setup to allow it but thats how i would have it setup.
if you make it a text field with a high character count limit you should be able to post many pictures, probly more than enough.

Southern, FYI we've added full image support... currently for ImageShack, PhotoBucket, and Picasa.
Just added our new MyRides content type as outlined above.
Note we've also added automatic embedding support for Photobucket, ImageShack, and Picasa, but Flickr support pending, so please use the other image services for now.
The MyRides feature is still in beta with more features coming... meanwhile, members please create yours to test it out and then drop comments here for any changes/etc you'd like to see.
New fields

We just updated MyRides posts with the following additional fields:
- Vehicle Lockers
- Vehicle Skid Plates
- Vehicle Suspension Lift
- Vehicle Tire Size
- Vehicle Transmission
Members, you may want to update your past MyRides entries to include these new fields, drop a comment here if you have any probs or have additional field requests.

When we went camping up at Dardanells we went up a gravel road at South Fork- after a few miles with all the bumps my friends said they didn't want to go further for fear it would put me into labor, hehehe. . ., takes more than that but by the end of the month I will be ready to do anything to get this over with
