I can't wait to see what the new year brings for us and those of you who attend the Oak Ridge Jeep Jamboree. Last year was interesting. We had more rain in those two days than we had in all our previous Jamborees combined. That part in the Jeep Jamboree trail rating description…"Rain can increase ratings on all trails by one or two points…" certainly held true for us. I'd say it was a minumum increase of two points! I think the participants who come back year after year saw a different side of Oak Ridge. Their easy drive in the woods became an even bigger challenge with the slippery trails. I know lightining never strikes in the same place twice, but what about rain? I can't wait to find out! See you in March.

Ah I remember pre-running

Ah I remember pre-running trails will Jill (JJUSA) and Joel (DCX) for Oak Ridge back in the days of their 1st Camp Jeep there... fun stuff. Haven't been back in a while but you've got some really nice terrain and site seeing down there as well, I think we took the Blue Ridge Parkway down and quite a nice trip.
