GPS fun at Snowshoe!
Just got back from Snowshoe, WV, and thought I'd share something I thought was fun. We kept the GPS running the whole time we were on the trails and mapped our tracks. We rode Bear Pin on Friday and Logging Run on Saturday. At the end of the day on Saturday, we also did a little bit extra stuff with another Jeep. They took us to the top of a ski run over by the staging area and then on to the Jeep training area. That was fun. Anyway, here's the link...

Not hard at all! In fact, the GPS program on my phone exports the track file in Google's KML format. It's even cooler if you look at it in Google Earth. Then you can get a sense of the elevation changes.

Members now have the ability to add maps... in addition to photos, videos, notes, journals, etc... to each of their MyTrips. See site news announcement, and our example trip.
That's very cool... we're looking at ways to let members embed their Google maps, like yours, directly into their MyTrips, so it'd look like this:
