How about Northwoods instead?

I've heard both good and bad about French Lick but all I've heard is great things about Northwoods. Its Oct 3rd till the 5th. Food for thought.

And if you're still looking to meet some local Jeepers in Chicagoland area, then i would recommend the Extreme Jeep Club.

I've gone riding with them and found them to be an awesome group of Jeepers of all ages and experence.
