Anybody going to Snowshoe?

I'm signed up, but I've never been. Anybody have any info on what trails to ride/avoid, where (not) to stay, etc.? Post up if you're coming. Let us know what you're riding and if you've been before.

We're in!

We're packing up the family and making the drive to Snowshoe from Detroit, MI. We've never been to this one, so I have no idea yet where we're camping or which trails to take. The good news is that we'll be 3" higher and on 33" tires this year. Last year (Paragon) we were stock from bumper to bumper. Eye-wink

Snowshoe is a blast!

My wife and I went to this last year, and had a blast. My Jeep has 35s and lockers and my wife has 32s without lockers. We both road on the same trails, mid-level, but do not remember the specific trail names. It had rained alot on Thursday and the Friday trail was really slick, really put the winches in the group to alot of use. But that was not really a bad thing. I am looking forward to another run on the trails later next month.

I'm SOOO Jealous...

I'm new to all of this and when I saw Snowshoe listed, I thought I was in luck! Then a business trip came up and took that chance this year away from me.

As for Snowshoe, I ski there several times a year. I can say that if you stay at the resort (snowshoemtn.com) the prices are a little steep, although summer rates are better than winter. But, it definatly is a first class resort.

Please post pics afterwards, I'd love to see 'em
