This is the Jeep I'm driving today... originally from our tv show and needs some updating & tlc now, but still gets around OK for now.
Description
MNTrailboss drives First Jeep
3.5" suspension lift with another 1" on the body which required the slip yoke eliminator and 1" engine lift to keep the angles right. Had 35 x 12 swampers on there with Bulletproof front and rear bumpers.
I didn't realize how well the vehicle performed until I purchased a CJ/5.

Simple, but effective. Just needs a bit more lift and slightly taller tires, which, of course, requires steeper gearing....and, since I'd need to re-gear, I may as well upgrade to tougher axles right? Built D-44's would work nicely.....of course with D-60's, I'd practically NEVER have a worry of breaking axle pieces. Then, of course, I should probably add lockers, and maybe............wait.............(Why do I see a pattern emerging here?)

Currently mostly stock with 31" T/A KO's. Working on getting it ready for th '08 Fall Texas Spur. I plan on having Rock sliders and possibly a 2' lift before the jamboree.

I always liked this Jeep - it was my friend's XJ for since new. Well, after my first Jamboree as a passenger, I decided to get myself a Cherokee - which happened to be the same time my friend got "minivanitus". He was going to get ripped off on a trade-in so he gave a good deal on it. It is a 98 with no rust - which is a rare find in Ohio. He babied this thing and it had never seen dirt (until I got ahold of it

awillard69 drives My first jeep
This is my very first Jeep acquired in a very interesting way, ask me about it on the trail.
My intent is to keep it as near stock (looking) as possible, no extensive lift or tire increases, but make as Trail Ready as possible.
It has an AirRaid cold air intake, Terraflex disconnects in the front, 30x9.50 BGF AT's, and Royal Purple throughout.
Pictures soon.
